How to change date format (MM/DD/YY) to (YYYY-MM-DD) in date picker
Use the dateFormat option

Try the following:
$('#to').datepicker({ dateFormat: 'yy-mm-dd'});You'd think it would be yyyy-mm-dd but oh well :P
